Our history

The Destek group of companies ("destek" means support in Turkish) is a fast-growing international financial services group with businesses in the UK, continental Europe and Turkey. The group has over 25 years' experience in the global financial markets.

Destek Markets UK Ltd is the newest addition to this group. It is authorised and regulated by the FCA and is headquartered in the heart of The City, London’s financial district, at 100 Fenchurch Street.

Destek Yatırım, the first member of the Destek online trading family was first established in 1992, in Turkey, with a Capital Markets Brokerage Licence, offering on-line trading solutions to Turkish residents. Since then, the group has expanded its operations across Europe and into Asia.

In 2016, Destek group decided to enter the UK as it wanted to be able to offer traders the ability to transact with a FCA authorised and regulated entity in one of the two largest financial centres in the world and in one of the most sophisticated and strictest regulatory environments there is. By offering clients the option to trade with a FCA authorised and regulated business, it ensures that clients have the peace of mind of knowing not only that their funds are segregated under the FCA’s Client Asset rules, but also that those funds are, within limits, also secured under the Financial Services Compensations Scheme (FSCS).

“Support” is not just in our name: it is also in the way we behave. Not only is the Destek Markets’ team passionate about the business and the way in which it is built, but it is dedicated to providing the best customer experience so that it becomes the partner of choice for all traders, from beginners to professionals.
